Hi! I'm Darby, the founder of Olive.n.Order, proud dog mom to my little Chorkie, Milo, and someone who's always believed that an organized home has the power to make everyday life easier.

Home has always been important to me.

Growing up, I watched my mom work full-time in the interior design industry while raising four kids, all while my dad traveled for work every other week. Somehow, she made our house feel calm, welcoming, and beautifully put together—even during life's busiest seasons.

Watching her taught me something I'll carry with me forever:

A home doesn't have to be perfect. It just needs systems that make life easier.

That belief became the foundation of Olive.n.Order.

I've always been drawn to creating beautiful, functional spaces that help people feel more at peace in their homes.

The funny thing is... I never planned on starting an organizing business.

Long before Olive.n.Order existed, I was always the person my friends and family called when they needed help tackling a messy room, unpacking after a move, reorganizing a closet, or creating better systems around the house. It never felt like work—it was simply something I loved doing.

Everything changed while helping one of my best friends move into her new home. With two little ones under four years old, life was busy, and together we worked through boxes, organized each room, and created systems that made everyday life more manageable.

At one point, she stopped and said,

"You need to make a career out of this."

Those words stuck with me.

And that's exactly what I did.

Today, Olive.n.Order exists because I genuinely believe that organization isn't about having a picture-perfect home—it's about creating a home that supports your life.

Whether I'm organizing a pantry, designing a dream closet, refreshing a playroom, or transforming an entire home, my goal is always the same:

To create thoughtful systems that reduce stress, simplify everyday routines, and make your home feel both beautiful and functional.

Because when everything has a place, you have more time for the people and moments that matter most.
